Changing Seasons and Autumnal October Shop Update!
How on earth is it the 1st of October already?! This year really has flown by. I'm not complaining though, this is my favourite time of year. The warm brown and orange colours, crisp air and crunchy leaves, and above all: snuggling up with a cosy blanket, a hot drink and a book in the evening- BLISS!

The Autumn update coming October 1st, 6pm definitely reflects the season! There are Harvest pumpkin ornaments in all their wobbly glory, mugs in a range of autumnal colours and all sorts of bowls and cups to match! Ive also made a few bud vases, higgledy piggledy cottages, and some pet bowls too! There is so much that i couldn't list everything here, but this is definitely my biggest update yet!

I really love the marbled mugs and cups in this update.i was experimenting with roughly mixing two types of clay together and the result is just stunning. They almost look like grain in wood!

The mottled oranges and browns mixed with the blues are just like autumn rain on a crisp morning.

The thing i'm most excited about in this update, is the fundraiser snowflakes. I've made frosty blue snowflake necklaces and pins that I will be donating all profits to Myaware, a charity that really means a lot to me. They would make the perfect little stocking fillers or gifts for friends at Christmas!

Bare bottom bowls are also making a comeback in autumnal colours in both cereal bowl and pasta bowl sizes! The natural clay outer gives these such a rustic feel. I've had such fun experimenting with glazes recently, i'm really in love with with how everything has turned out! Feeling very excited for the coming months at Under the Willow Pottery, that's for sure!!

I hope you're all keeping cosy and well,
